Lean Enterprise System

ZAMEFA practices Lean manufacturing by defining value as perceived by its customers, the actual features and services that they expect. It uses methods that help it better focus its business on the true needs of its customers. This is achieved by applying a series of methods designated to minimize the waste and increasing levels of production. Lean System intends to eliminate activities that do not add value and deliver the best possible product to customers quickly and without barriers.

Removing unnecessary tools, supplies, and equipment to increase the available work area and storage

Organizing tools, supplies, and workstations in a manner that will improve efficiency and make it
easier to move from one task to the next

Cleaning the workplace to make it easier to spot leaks, material buildup (metal shavings and
dust), and other signs that equipment may not be working properly

Applying consistent improvements from Sort and Set in Order throughout the workplace

on a daily basis.
